I can't see the thumbnails for lots of my TIFF images. Is there a special action to do?

I had the same problem and got it solved by purging the cache.
Tools > Manage Cache > Clean up Cache

This won't help the OP, but may help someone else who comes to this thread: Make sure that the number in this box is high enough for the files you want to see thumbs of.

(I've been caught out by this before, as the number reverts to 1000 or so on each major version update):

Hi Michel,

Please purge cache after increasing the size limit of processed files.

Please let me know if the issue persists.

Regards,
Abhishek Seth.

I find strange that the cache is placed under lightroom folder. Does this mean that the cache is also used by LR?

I have done this, and get no one result!
Using Bridge CC 2019 is completely impossible.

I do not understand the way this cache is working, where the thumbnail are placed or why it  it's impossible to get these thumbnails for TIF and CR2 files while the JPG one's are displayed.
What is the difference between Video cache memory, cache, cache for a specific folder....
This doens'tsimplify the use of Bridge CC 2019

Q: Why do we all have to dig deep into the systems and to tune either the OS X or the Apps, ... or both. We all want to edit images and not to loose time by trying to find solutions on making system work.
