Bridge 6.2: Performance issues (Mac)

Since updating to Bridge 6.2 (Mac 10.10.5) I have had really slow building of 100% previews.

I am talking about almost 15 mins to build thumbnails, and 100% Previews, and export cache, from 250 5DsR raw files. (also in this new version there is no countdown to show progress)

As suggested on another forum, I tried creating another user account and this seems to be much faster - why?

I consider myself a power user of Bridge ACR and Photoshop using them all day every day!
OSX10.10.5 - MacPro 3.7GHz Quad Core - 32GB Ram - ADM Firepro D300 2048Mb

Anyone got any insight into this?

Yeah, why on earth did you guys remove the file count of remaining previews to be generated? Worse still, the new message comes and goes and you think it's done only to startup again. Man, I just don't understand why you guys keep changing things like this. It's like you want your users to be lost and in the dark by making blatantly user-friendly items and info disappear with every single update. Some folders of RAW files can take a while and it was always nice to have a tracker to let you know. Now it's just this "...uh...doing stuff..." message which offers no info.

Yes ... Please Adobe, consult with real working photographers like us, who work with Photoshop day in and day out, and let us tell you what is useful and whats not.
