Bridge 2018 will not do full size preview

Just starting to use Bridge 2018. Nice to have some additions (actually old features restored) such as contact sheet in output. However, it won't give me full size previews, with neither the spacebar or the view menu. The border changes color but no image appears. Have Mac Pro with High Sierra. Bug? Fix on the way?

Did you remove your old preferences and start fresh when you started to use 2018? Bridge is very delicate, alas, especially moving between an older version and a brand new one. I recall encountering this when I upgraded. It seemed to just hang.  I deleted prefs and purged cache, just in case. Started as fresh as possible. I've had no problems since, but that's not a guarantee your problem isn't something else. I'm on El Cap, not High Sierra. I haven't heard anyone else mention it, so I don't know that it's a major bug.

I believe this has to do with retina high resolution displays and such.  Image files do fill the preview pane on all devices, but PDF's do not.  On my older, but still nice, Wacom Cintiq 21UX, Bridge's Preview of PDF's fills the pane as desired.  On my Microsoft Surface Pro, it does not.  Newer graphics drivers, I suspect.  This issue has nothing to do with Bridge's cache.
