in LR4, anyone having problems exporting Book as PDF? Also in book module, when I use the slider on a page to zoom the photo in/out, it will vanish in the middle of sliding it. Takes 2/3 tries to get it to stay on screen.

Hi Jeffrey,
I am running Mac OS X 10.7.3.
I hope to try LR4 on my PC laptop to see if the issue shows up there too.

I have the same problem.
If I want to export to PDF I get the error message:
"An error occurred while saving the book.
There was an error creating the PDF file. "
If I want to export to BLURB I get the message:
"An error occurred while creating the book."
The creation or export always stops at the same page which contains a two page spread. Interestingly there is a two-page spread before that didn't throw an error. I treid to move the page to the end of the book. Then it throws the error at the next two page spread.

I deleted the two page format pages from my book and was able to save it as a pdf (albeit without the cover or back photos) and send it to Blurb. I received my book last week and they did an excellent job.

Hi All, similar issue running LR 4.1RC - however I don't get any errors when exporting book to PDF, the status bar in the top left just says "Exporting book to PDF", I have even left it for over 6hrs and no file is ever created. It worked fine on LR4.
