Is it my understanding that adobe knowing that not only in Lightroom 4 but in its other software that when you click on fill that your image might look blurry even though it is not a blurry photograph? Are they planning on ever fixing this? I have read postings from 3 years ago of others having this same problem.

This is not something for Adobe to fix, necessarily. If this situation is happening to you, then how blurry?

The initial image the software shows is the thumbnail resized to the larger view size, until the software has re-rendered the image to the size it should be for display, or retrieved the preview computed, earlier. If the blurry image never goes away, then either the master image is missing or the previews are corrupted so only the thumbnail remains to be displayed, or maybe the video drivers are not working properly so when LR instructs the OS to display the image, something fails in that process.

I have experienced this problem with final release of 4.1. When moving from one module to another, such as, Library to Print, it takes a long time for the final image to render properly in focus. Note that the original image is sharp and not blurry. Computer is a 27 IMac with 8GB ram, 1TB HD, upgraded i7 Intel Core Processor. Lots of space remaining on the IMac.
Hope that Adobe will address this issue.
