Blurb integration issues

What a waste of time.

I've uploaded a book via LRCC book module to Blurb, but only after doing so did I realize that certain essential features (like the quality of magazine I was buying) are not available within LRCC. Seeing that they're available when using Blurb's proprietary BookWright software, I exported my photos as a catalog to be migrated to the simpler LR which apparently has directed integration with BookWright (BW). Fine.

OK, after the migration was complete and everything synced to the cloud, I started a new magazine project in BW, selected the better quality magazine stock, and let my Blurb access my Adobe account via their browser-based Photo Manager thing, and waited for it to download my migrated photos into BW...tic-toc-tic-toc

Ok. Well, no photos to show. I even tried linking my Flickr to see if it would work. Nope.

This partnership LR + LRCC have with Blurb is mega-weak. I don't know what Adobe is getting out of this deal, but it's frustrating.

Further, and not Adobes fault, print quality is hardly best in class.

Blurb is investigating...It just all seems so clumsy and poorly integrated.

Blurb created the Bookwright app and its integration with Lightroom so they should have a solution! I haven't used it, but have used the Blurb Adobe InDesign plugin. It provides much more layout flexibility and allows soft proofing and color-correcting image files for a better printed rendering. BookWright's layout tools should be equally flexible. Please let us know what they find. Thank you.

They sent the issue to their technical team and told me they fixed the issue with the photo manager. I can confirm that the issue is resolved.
