Lightroom: Problem with Blurb pricing/shipping

Lightroom should be disconnected from the Blurb photobook module. Book price is extremely high, delivery is very slow and their help people are arrogant. In my instance, my book was shipped on 1/23, tracking calls for delivery on 1/29 and I paid $5.99 for shipping. The book is not here yet (2/1), Blurb says it will not arrive here until 2/5 and they said it is because I chose slow shipping. Right! Blame the customer!

Hi Peter, sorry you're having trouble. Let me see if I can escalate a case for you through Blurb.

I also paid the lower shipping price for the slower delivery. That was scheduled at 2 weeks I think, but arrived in 10 days, so I'm happy with the service. If I'd wanted it quicker, I'd have paid the higher price for the faster delivery. Same as most online businesses.

But you are not going to get next day delivery; they have to print your images, let them dry(?), and then bind them into a book. Not the same as just sending you a book off the shelf.

Blurb's website says delivery usually takes 7-11 business days.

Bob, you just dont get it.
Where did you read anything about one-day delivery in my comments? That would be beyond stupid.
The issue is arrogance.
My tracking information still says delivery by 1/29 and it's 2/2 with no book. Yet they contradict what is written right before my eyes in UPS tracking info and tell me differently. They gather shipping info and present it like a trial lawyer and tell me it's my fault for not purchasing faster delivery. That's not the way any company should treat its customers, certainly not if they want repeat business.
One additional point. I almost never pay for shipping. I get free shipping on my orders from most vendors. But whether I pay or do not pay, I usually find my purchase delivered in about 6 days, sometimes less. Most vendors are bending over backwards to please. Not this one.

Jeffrey,
They did not get back to me as stated.
Tracking info still promises delivery on January 29.
They insist that delivery should be Feb 5.
Today is the 6th and I do not have the book.

Hi Peter, sorry. My bad. I misplaced my contact for Blurb and just got ahold of Joe from Blurb today. He will look into this today and get back to us.
