CS6 Standard - When using the blur tool in multiple strokes causes CS6 to terminate with an error. Happened to me 5 times and can be repeated. My video card, ATI Radeon HD 4650, driver is up to date. Never had this problem with CS5 or CS3..........Ralph

The current driver for your video card (12-4) contains known issues that can cause Photoshop to crash. Until a newer driver is posted that contains a fix, I would suggest going back to the 12-2 driver and see if that helps prevent PS from crashing.

My ATI driver indicates version 8.773.0.0. Must be a different driver than yours. Thanks for your input.......Ralph

There's a known bug in the Blur tool that can cause crashes on both platforms.
One of our engineers is working on it.

Chris why not mark this thread Acknowledged or working on, We see some many bug reports here and no official response which makes it look like Adobe is swamped overloading the staff Adobe assigned to Photoshop Support, Looking at the Problem being worked on there are only three pages and none are CS6 bugs only one CS6 Beta bugs.

This is a pretty serious problem I thought was related to the beta version of CS6 only. Way wrong. It cost me a lot of extra time and aggravation today. 2 crashes. 27" iMac, i7 Quad-core processor, 16 GB RAM.

Chris, since the problem has been identified as the blur tool and is being worked on how do I close this post without indicating that the problem has been solved......Ralph
