A Windows bluescreen (aka kernel panic) is caused by an error in the OS, a bug in a low level driver, or a hardware defect. Applications cannot cause a bluescreen, they can only call existing OS or driver code that has a bug, or use hardware that has an existing defect.

The most likely cause in this case would be the video card driver. Make sure you have updated your driver from NVidia's website.

But the error message given makes it sound like a CPU or hardware problem on your system.
