Lightroom: LR4: Why did the direction of the black slider reverse?

Am I the only one that can't get used to the fact that increasing the blacks slider in 2010 process darkened blacks, and increasing the blacks slider in 2012 process blacks slider does the opposite? Eventually I'll remember.

While I'm at it, I can't stand what happened to Auto Tone - it did such a nice job in 3.6 to automatically adjust for full dynamic range. Now it's either way over or way underexposed.

I'll leave sluggish performance and the fact that importing to new folders (Win 7 x64) doesn't work cleanly. Glad I'm only running the trial version.

Having all sliders be the same direction for the same thing will probably be a good thing for you too, once you get used to it.

I don't use AutoTone - it was marginal in Lr3, and from what I gather, is even worse in Lr4. Perhaps it should simply be removed altogether, at least until it works respectably.

Overall, PV2012 rocks. Performance & reliability problems have been less than previous .0 releases so no big gripes, although I have my niggles...

Lr4 gets 1.5 thumbs up from me.
