What product are you using and on what OS? You've cut off the UI so it's hard to see how and where you're viewing the image you've posted.

This looks like preview, but the image came out of Lightroom 3 right? -- related to facebook posting: https://www.facebook.com/lightroom/po...

"I need help!! I use my own made presets and at some point tiny black triangles have snuck in to some of them, tiny perfect black triangles in every corner (clearly arrived at some point and then I adapted from the corrupt version) and I just can't find how to get rid of them, I've tried everything :("

Do these triangles save to the image? They look like crop marks

That is almost certainly a post-crop vignette. I can achieve exactly that look by using the settings in the Effects panel.

Amount = -100
Midpoint = 100
Roundness = -100
Feather = 0

So apply the preset that gives this effect, then go to the Effects panel and reset all of the post-crop vignette sliders to the defaults (double-clicking the slider will set it to default) and then right-click on the preset and choose "update with current settings."
