Photoshop: Black screen

Hi, I don ́t know why, but I don ́t see anything that the black screen in my photoshop. On the side in the layers overview I can see that my picture is actually inside and I can save it like jpg or something else. But why I don= t see anything on the screen? And please the simple answer- like press that and that, because I am not very technical person...

Which OS version are you using?
Have you updated your video card drivers from the GPU maker's website (you should) ?

I have windows computer with windows 8. What is it GPU marker ́s website? I will update it,. But I am not sure if that ́s the problem, because InDesign and Illustrator run normally- i ́t will be probably just some trick with photoshop settings.

The GPU is the chip on your video card (NVidia, AMD/ATI, or Intel). You need to update the drivers from their website.

No, it has nothing to do with settings in Photoshop -- your video card driver has a bug, and needs to be updated to fix that bug.
