Beware of the Lion Operating System

I just, regrettably upgraded my MAC with the Lion operating system. My ability to print from Adobe Lightroom is now not producing correct printed colors; however printing from IPhoto or Preview is printing close colors. I am printing on an Espon 3830 but have also tested with the same results on an Epson Artisan 50. Lime Greens are coming out dark and the over all prints are about a half zone of gray darker when printing from Lightroom. I am using the following test print (PrinterEvaluationImage_V002_ProPhoto.tiff). To check my color management I re-calibrated my monitor as well as produced a new ICC paper profile with Colormunki. Still same color shift results.

Spent an hour hour on the phone with Espon tech support and again no better results.

Anybody with Adobe have a solution to his problem, or have heard of it before?

I have been printing from LR 3 (and PSCS5) ever since upgrading to Lion about two weeks after it was released. Thus far I have had no color issues.

There have been two major updates for Epson printers in the last couple of months regarding Lion OS X 10.7 ... perhaps you could check to see if you are using the latest versions. Unless your printer was manufactured VERY recently, the drivers on the included DVD may not be the most current.

I went thru all the trouble shooting with the Epson Tech including uninstalling the printer and reinstalling. Drivers are the most current offer by Epson.
