It would be nice to have more control during the install process for Photoshop. So that we can choose which components we would like to install, for example not being forced to install Adobe Bridge or CS Live functions.

This is also applicable to other applications such as Illustrator, but I couldn't find a Get Satisfaction page for that.

Indeed. Loved back in the old days when I installed Photoshop or Illustrator I was just installing Photoshop or Illustrator. I do not use Bridge or any of the other programs. When I install Photoshop and Illustrator I want just them. Now, an Adobe Updater application is fine as a mandatory install with Adobe apps, but I wouldn't want anything else. Lots of things were done to improve the speed of the installation process for CS5, and I'm grateful. Just the BS that gets installed along with the applications needs to be addressed.

Also a bundle with just Photoshop and Illustrator would be beneficial. It's ridiculous that Photoshop and Illustrator separately cost more than a bundle with a bunch of apps I don't want. I don't want Fireworks. I don't want InDesign. I sure don't want Flash.

I'd love to build my own suite. PS, AI, DW for me. ID, AI, Acrobat for my coworker, should cost the same. And if Master Suite has 10 apps for $2000 then buying 6 apps should not cost more than $1500.
