Photoshop: "New from clipboard" command needed

The current way to get clipboard content into Photoshop would benefit from streamlining.

File > New > [dialog opens] > Clipboard > [document is created] > Paste time-consuming, especially when using anything but a lightening fast new computer as the new File dialog is so heavy.

I would like to see a one-click, hot-keyable shortcut:

File > New from Clipboard

On top of this, it should have several modes, depending on the current clipboard content:

  1. Pixels: immediately create an image and paste the content
  2. Vector: immediately create an image and prompt for pixels, shape or paths
  3. Text: if a text string is in the clipboard, prompt for text, pixels, shape or path
The workflow for clipboard content is always similar, but at the moment, the tooling around it is weak.

Just do what the rest of us have done and disable the new File/New.

Ha ha, that's hilarious!

Yes, Adobe were clutching at straws for new features on this one weren't they.

I still think the suggestion is a good one, as it expands the capability to create a new document from clipboard content.
