Be able to apply smart filters to multiple layers

It would be nice to be apply to apply smart filters to multiply layers instead of only a single smart object.

You can already do that. Select the layers, and change them into a smart object. Then apply the filter to that smart object.

If you have multiple smart object layers that can't be  combined  into a new Smart Object (they have various layers in between them, for instance), it's very easy to option/alt drag the smart filter icon to each of the smart object layers, rather than having to open the filter again. However, it does take the time to run on each layer you do this with.

This, of course, only works with those filters that store the settings in the document so they can rerun those settings. Some, such as Topaz Texture Effects, will only run the last-used filter, so that might not always work.
