Backup Lightroom without prompt

Why do I have to press "Backup" each time I exit Lightroom even though it is set to Automatic. It should simply back it up each time silently in the background without having to wait for me to click Backup every single time.

A simple "Lightroom is backing up the Catalog" would be sufficient to let users know why it didn't immediately shut down rather than requiring a confirmation every time it is scheduled to do a backup. I don't have Lightroom scheduled to backup every day, but it is still an automatic and scheduled event -- and I have to manually confirm it every time.

Even if there were a timeout on the dialog box so it'd start the backup after a short break (to give you time to skip if you're in a rush) that'd be really helpful. I frequently walk away from my computer after finishing using Lightroom only to find that it's sitting at the dialog, often this happens when I've tried to shut down the computer so the computer's been sitting there for hours waiting for my input.

Yes, a time out would be much better than not having the dialog at all. I do have Lightroom set to backup every time it quits. Because I have a large catalog (160,000 images) that takes up to ten minutes. If I know I didn't make any changes, I want to be able to skip the backup.
