Lightroom/Camera Raw: B&W "Proof Colors" Feature

When editing color images, I'm a huge user of "Covert to Grayscale" (B&W in Lr) to momentarily proof the colors and make sure they aren't off too far. There is one problem though: when using split toning, a color cast is added to the B&W, so its usefulness becomes nil.

Now this is a great feature, because you can add a bit of toning to your B&W. But, there is still an issue when checking color images.

My idea is a sort of feature that will completely bypass all color and show a simple grayscale image. Actually, this would even be useful when grading a B&W...Just to make sure your eyes aren't seeing it wrong.

Thank you,
