Lightroom: Ability to automatically publish all publications

I have several publications with smart folders exporting my images to different locations (local harddisk to sync with iPhone/iPad, website, image selling site).

I would like a way to publish all the publications nightly, so my portofolio is always up-to-date on all locations. Something like a applescript-able interface or menu item 'publish all' would do. Now I cannot automate anything without doing things by hand.

Which application are you referring to?

Sorry, this is about Lightroom (I forgot to include it in the title and cannot edit it anymore).

In addition to my request: a Lua interface to drive the application would do and might be more cross-platform than an applescript api

Publish Service Assistant supports 2 kinds of auto-publishing:

1. Multi-catalog auto-publish/shutdown.
2. Intra-catalog auto-publishing - with facilities for keeping photos from being re-published prematurely when re-editing them..

Unfortunately Rob Coles plugins are no longer available. Sadly I understand he died a few years ago. I don't think anyone has picked up the baton of his work.

I would really like an auto publish feature and was thinking something along the lines of the backup catalog popup when shutting Lightroom down. Except this popup would informed the user of the number of images which were marked for new/republish and and options to "Publish and Close Lightroom", "Close Lightroom without Publishing" and "Cancel Closing" and go a catalog smart collection showing all images marked for new/republishing :)

Perhaps this plugin from Jeffery Friedl will help?:
It includes a "Publish at" feature that allows you to schedule publish actions
And it includes a "Mark Selected Publish Collections As Up To Date" option as well for help with one of your other recent questions.

There is also my Any Source plugin, whose Publish Collections command identifies all published collections needing republishing (across multiple publish services) and lets you publish all or some of them at once.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled LR: Flag which Published folders need to be updated.

On the Lightroom Published Collections list, can you indicate somehow that the folder has images to be published or modified?

Otherwise you have to visit each one to check.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Display of unpublished or to-be republished images in published collections.

The amount of to-be published pictures in published collections could be displayed in the row of each collection. Additionally, auto-publishing (smart)-collections could be implemented
