Actually this is a for Photoshop/Ligthroom. I'm now on my third series of taking pictures on a same spot daily. As a beginner I would love to have a action which would crop series of photos to same area. I know that you can do it manually :).

Turn on the action panel in Window menu > Click new action at bottom of action panel > give action a name like crop > go to file menu > automate > batch > your action list will be there and you can select a folder or opened documents.

But realize that Lr is not a mind-reader, so unattended crops will be as good as you think they might be.

I think I managed to describe it badly. Idea is that Photoshop (would be better I think) would find common image area on all selected and then would crop each to match.

I would recommend to try
• File > Scripts > Load Files into Stack
• Edit > Auto-Align Layers (edit: naturally with all layers selected)
• control the results
• crop manually (or go a different route)

Use panorama software for that (Hugin, for example). Align all the images, set your cropping, and export as individual images.

Photoshop's File > Scripts > Load Files into Stack. Tick Auto Align.
