Lightroom: Auto Sharpness Analysis and Rating/Ranking

It'd be great if Lightroom would automatically provide a sharpness analysis of each photo (say between 1 and 100). With this, I could more quickly choose between several otherwise identical photos. Or I could sort by sharpness and delete all the photos below a specific sharpness level. Obviously, the only area of each photo to analyze would be where focus points are used.

How would this work with "focus, shift, shoot" pattern? i.e. the focus point in image does not anymore match the point to which the camera was focused?

Focus Peaking would do.

Yeah, the focus point may not be right area to analyze.

Even if Lightroom could tell you which images were the sharpest, you would still need to check that the sharpest area in a portrait is around the eyes rather than the ears. Focus peaking would help.

Yes! That would be great. I had posted a similar request but it was merged to another not so similar idea.

I think it’s technically not that complicated knowing focus peaking has been around for a while...
