Lightroom Mobile: Auto white point + Auto black point

Like in Lr Classic, could you PLEASE! implement an auto white point and auto black point. It would be so easy to double tap on “Whites” then on “Blacks” to achieve these two controls fundamental to processing. While you’re at it, throw in Auto Contrast, too! I know I’m not the first to ask for this. I’m just reminding you of the request!

Auto tone does already a pretty good job, no?
Cmd + U and Cmd + Shift + U are very often what I start with.

For Lr Mobile? I did specify the request was for Lr Mobile and those keyboard shortcuts don’t appear to work, at least not with my iPad Pro and keyboard.

The keyboard shortcut doesn’t work?! That’s a bummer.
Then the auto tone button should do the trick.

Thanks for the suggestion, but the "Auto" button in Lr Mobile changes far too much at once and is NOT a fix, except in a half-assed way. "A pretty good job" is not good enough, actually. I, and many others, are used to double-clicking the "Whites" and "Blacks" in Lr Classic CC and miss this specific functionality in Lr M. "Auto Whites" and "Auto Blacks" does something I cannot do - find the highest value pixel and make it white and find the lowest value pixel and make it black. Otherwise, I am not a PHD photographer, but rather prefer to explore the inner workings of the app. "Auto Whites" and "Auto Blacks" is basic functionality, so I am disappointed that this is not carried over from Lr Classic CC to what is a very powerful app. It's like Adobe has dumbed down Lr Mobile for no reason because certainly the iPad chip can handle something as basic as this.

Agreed, the function you’re requesting is indeed missing.
This might help you out in the meantime: while holding the slider, press on the image: it will display the clipping areas.

"I know I’m not the first to ask for this. I’m just reminding you of the request!"

And that does not help, because it only spreads the request over multiple posts. It's better to find the original request and add your vote.

I agree, Johan, but why does a "Champion" like you waste my time (and yours) by providing a totally unhelpful, unnecessary, and somewhat sarcastic reply? Surely you realise how inefficient the search engine is for this forum; e.g. I just don't get why they seem to be using "or" instead of "and" with a string of words.
<Auto white point> gives 440 conversations that include Lr Classic conversations - even when Lr Mobile is the only thread selected. How efficient is that?
<"Auto white point"> results in 1 - mine.
I know others are requesting this - but it's a waste of my time trying to do the forum's job by trying to find that needle in a haystack.

Johan is right, IF if the request already existed, it’s better to add your voice to the pile.

On the other hand, I get your point and requests are usually just ignored. Some are several years old. Some are even on a “to do list” since years.

I don't find another request for this under Mobile.

That’s shocking, because I know how much it is used in Lr Classic. I’m surprised that more of us who use both and use the Auto White/Black have not requested it. Maybe there are too few of us.

You are missing the point. This is not unhelpful, unnecessary or sarcastic. Adobe looks at the number of votes for a request to see how many people would like this. The higher the number of votes, the better the chance that Adobe will honor the request. So you do yourself a favour if you add your vote to an existing request and not start a new thread if you know it has been requested before.
