On import, rename files, start number: Lightroom should remember the last number used and increment it by one for the next import session. Or there should be an option to do so.

Hard to argue with that one, but maybe this should be a feature-request/idea instead of a question.

+1 vote..

I clicked on the suggest a feature button in the Lightroom discussion and this is where I ended up. I figure the Adobe folks can put this where ever they want it to live.

I seem to have joined some kind of family and I don't want to be in a group that would have me as a member so I'm trying to figure out how to kill this silliness.

You have to have an Adobe ID to post here, but by posting here, you've not become member of anything else, except that I think, by default, if you post in this forum, you'll get notified of responses. If you don't want that, then you need to change your preferences somehow..

In other words, this forum is part of the Photoshop family of forums, but you personally are not a member of said family, per se, other than by how you think of yourself..
