I love that I can manage my photos and video in Lightroom 3. As a photojournalist I also gather audio files. I would greatly love it if I could use Lightroom to import and manage all my audio/visual content.
OK, so it's great that Lightroom 4 now offers a little more management of video files. From a Digital Asset Management perspective, it would be really great if LR also at least showed and allowed me to preview my audio files that are generated from my camera or other sources.
These thankfully get pulled along when importing images from my flash cards, but there is no indication of their existence from within the Lightroom interface...which makes renaming and managing these assets more work, as I have to jump out of LR to do this.
Given the multimedia nature of much of the work many of us now do (as acknowledged by the inclusion of video in LR), why is it Adobe is still ignoring those audio wav files?
