Lightroom Classic: Audio or visual feedback for -> Edit in Photoshop

If someone at Adobe is going to be looking at Edit in Photoshop from Lightroom Classic, could I ask for a feature?

I find that often it takes seconds for the Edit in Photoshop command to be executed. In that time it is easy for me to think (or, perhaps, unthinkingly assume) that I mistyped the keystroke and hit it again, or even a third time. Finally, two or three instances of the photo are opened in Photoshop.

I have no idea why this command is so slow, but if there were a little feedback (like a quick "blink" of the screen) that the command has been started, it would be very useful.

Yep, I do exactly that all the time. It is one thing that hasn't sped up.

I should make it clear--this is for opening RAW files. For TIFFs etc you get a dialog  ("Open original or edited version?") almost immediately.
