Please put back the possibility of applying presets to multiple images by selecting the pictures you want and right clicking in the grid view.

It is there!  in the Quick Develop panel. No longer a Right-click in the grid.
With the panel closed it is on the panel header.
With the panel open it is the "Saved Preset" drop-down menu.

That only works if you have autosync enabled - I find it annoying having to turn it on and off all the time. And I noticed that it isn't as reliable as before. For some reason some Pictures didn't update... It worked better for me Before.

That should work without Auto Sync as long as you're in Grid view.

Autosync is not needed. ctrl+shift+s  is not needed.
Quick Develop panel is only visible in Grid mode.
ALL the 'selected' images in Grid view are adjusted by the chosen Preset.

My test-  Select 4 images,  Quick Develop > Preset 'LR..toned..Sepia"
Before-

After-
