applying filters to folders or as in adjustment layers

Smart objects is slow. You need to be grouping into smart objects to apply the same effect.
Adobe we need more productivity. This solution would be great.

Do you mean apply Layer Effects or Blend Modes to a Group rather than making a Smart Object from the Group and applying LE/BM to that? If so, it's been a feature for most, if not all of the CC editions.

Actually smart objects are prerendered elements and they are much faster and productive than groups with filters applied. The filter will take time to flatten the particular group every time it's applied and do the same after any minor change of the group, thus blowing up the number of calculations and generating montrose cache.

This program in its first version has already solved this problem of productivity.

yeah, it would be great if adjustment layers in Photoshop worked the way they do in After Effects
