Applying a simple crop freezing up PShopCC?

I'm using Photoshop CC/Mac. For the past 2 days, I've been experiencing a major slow down when I use the crop tool. My images have either been 72 dpi ones I've uploaded from my camera to a 300 dpi 1" x 3" image. I've never had any issues before cropping -- it's always beenable to handle it very, very quickly. I've changed nothing on my end except cleared p-ram at start up. I've let it sit now for 35 mins while it thinks about applying my crop and it's only about 1/3 of the way through it. ???

Press ESC to cancel the operation.
Then look very carefully at the parameters you entered in the crop tool options bar -- you mistakenly told it to create a HUGE image (probably by forgetting a value in the resolution field), and it is busy doing what you told it to do.

Think I solved my own problem. I reset my tools & reset my PShop preferences (Command + Option + Control + Shift). Moving a lot faster now and feel a lot embarrassed for not trying that earlier. Just wasn't sure if the reset pref keys for InD were the same for PShop. D'oh!
