OS X El Capitan - LR CC user. Just bought and installed an Epson SC P808 printer. In Develop mode, under Soft Proofing, there remains the original Canon ICC profile. Can't find the Epson profiles, particularly that for different papers. Then, under Print mode, Color Management, there are only the Canon profile and none on Epson. Please advise as how to install the ICC profiles to LR, thanks.

Hi Kevin,

When you installed your printer the Epson profiles should have installed themselves, to check.. Go Macintosh HD/library/colour sync/profiles and there you should find your profiles. If not then go to the Epson site and download the profiles that you need for a given paper/printer and manual install them in the folder 'as above'

Once installed, open Lightroom/print option and select a image to print, then scroll down to colour management and click on the small arrows to the right of 'profile' you should then be able to see and choose any installed profile form your colour sync folder.

Hope this helps,
Kindest regards

After installing the printer driver, you need to make Lightroom aware of the profiles. Lightroom won't show you every profile installed on your computer- just the profiles you tell it show.

Go to the Print Module
Print Job Panel under Color Management, select ProfileĀ
Scroll to the bottom of the flyout menu and select Other...
Put a check mark by only those profiles you want Lightroom to use.
Click OK
Your profiles should now be available throughout Lightroom
