Is there a way to copy a catalog to an alternate drive to improve performance (i.e. a solid-state drive) without having to reconnect are current pictures? I currently have over 140,000 pictures taking up nearly 1.5 Terabytes. While the "reconnect all" option may seem reasonable, this hangs for me after around 80,000 pictures and I can not get it to complete. Perhaps Photoshop elements is not designed for large libraries but reconnecting this many pictures is potentially a daunting task.

Why don't use the backup/restore feature of the Organizer.
