Creating a series of animated gifs using artboards I cannot export the animated gifs individually.  Will this be addressed in the future?

It's not currently supported. I've converted your question into a feature request.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled PHOTOSHOP - Separate animation timeline for each artboard.

Some sort of "Play Selected Artboard Timeline" or "Play All" options would be great for this. My need for this stems from the gifs I'm making all needing different timeline lengths to loop at different times while still being able to export assets from artboards individually. Having them all in artboards within the same PSD keeps things tidy.

Adobe is "amazing", here are Artboards for web use and you cannot work with them to get GIF animation for the web....

oh ok i find it !! yes !!!!!! im happy lol
ok so if you want to export each artboards to animated gif you have to create slice around each artboard and then save for the web

I had tried this but if your file size is really large, its near impossible (unless you have an insane rig) for the computer to load to the "save for web" screen.  Several times I tried and it either froze or took 10+ minutes to load since its loading the full PSD doc animation at once.  Need something that isolates the artboards when exporting to avoid this ridiculous load time, not to mention when changing the presets it would also take forever to re-load...  I guess its fine for smaller files :)

Hi, we really need this feature, it's weird that it's not here yet. At the minute, my only solution is the following :

- Create my graphics on the artboards and animate with the timeline
- Export all artboards as separate photoshop files
- Open each files and save for web...

When you have a lot of artboards it's really a pain.

Slices is not really an option as it exports all the slices, incuded the ones inbetween the artboards... When you have a lot it's not possible.

It would be so much easier to be able to select "animated gif" in the "export as" window ! I need this on a daily basis...
