Lightroom Mobile: Does not show latest PSD edit (Android)

After saving a change to a PSD file on Windows, the change shows on Android Lightroom Mobile in grid view, but only momentarily in edit view. In edit view, the spinning circle appears, and then the file before the latest edit displays.

This behavior began with the latest update to Lightroom Mobile on Android.

Hi Dan,

May I know few details about the workflow that you are using when you are facing this issue.

I have tried reproducing this issue at my end but able to reproduce this issue.

Deepak, thank you for looking at this. Based on the following, I wonder if the problem is due to cache handling on Android LR Mobile in Edit view.

I made a psd with two text layers. The first layer says "Edit 1" and the second says "Edit 2". I then hid the "Edit 2" layer, saved the file and then synced it with LR Mobile. On Android, it shows the file correctly in both Grid view and in Edit view. Then, I enabled the "Edit 2" layer as well and saved the file. On Android, in Grid view, the file shows both "Edit 1" and "Edit 2". However, in Edit view, the file displays initially showing both "Edit 1" and "Edit 2". However, the spinning wheel appears and then when it stops, the "Edit 2" text goes away.

So, in "edit" view, could it be picking up the cached previous view?

I hope this is helpful.

Thanks for the info.
Did you edit in Photoshop from Lightroom desktop and then synced that image to Lightroom mobile.?

The document creation and edits were done in desktop Photoshop, via desktop Lightroom.

Thanks Dan for reporting this issue. We are able to reproduce this as well at our end.
I will be locking this as a bug. And we will be trying to fix in future releases.
