Lightroom: Analyze photos for movement then show me a metric for faster filtering of blurry shots

Most of the time in LR, I'm moving between several similar shots looking for the sharpest. Adobe already has algorithms for analyzing photos for motion vectors in their Shake Reduction sharpening tool. Maybe LR could run through the set of images (sometimes 3000+ images) and determine how much motion there is in a photo so LR can assist me in honing in quickly on the sharpest photo. A step further would be to let me choose a set of images, click on a feature like an eye and LR would identify a region around that feature (quick least mean squares), find it in each photo and then rank the photos somehow based on focus and motion blur.

I'll second this request! I'd love to see LR be able to identify sharp vs. soft pictures in an identified set of images I select.
