Suddenly Photoshop crashes and I receive the message "Display driver has stopped working and recovered" I have an AMD display and their website suggests if it is only happening on one software program (it is) to contact the manufacturer. This problem has rendered Photoshop unusable, what do you suggest.

Driver errors typically happen in the one application that uses the broken driver functionality...

Which OS version are you using?

For Windows - go to AMD's website and download the latest drivers.
For MacOS - contact Apple and wait for Apple to release a driver update.

Determine what video card you have and go *directly to the manufacturers website (nVidia or ATI/AMD)* and download the latest driver: http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/201...

Just doing Windows Update won't give you the latest and greatest drivers. You must go directly to your card manufacturers website to check for driver updates.
