I am creating a storefront page on amazon. The title photo needs to have the dimensions of 3,000 by 600. I am trying to resize a photo on Lightroom classical cc.

Not sure how familiar you are with Lightroom, but the short explanation is -

Set a custom crop ratio of 30x6 and crop your image.

Then on Export, set the Image Sizing options as shown below -

Yes I did try this earlier and it did not work. The picture still has the same formatting. Any other recommendation?

I only suggested Camera Raw IF that is what you are using. You can do it just as easily from Lightroom because the controls are exactly the same. In Lightroom, have you seen the Treatment option, in the basic panel, right beneath the histogram. You have a choice of color and black-and-white. It's no different than in Camera Raw.

Kudos to you, James.  Regretfully, I think Alton's questions/problems are a bit outside the scope of Lr/Ps issues normally posted here, but you're still hanging in there!

On a side note will lightroom CC or photoshop CC have more features?

Does a hammer or a screwdriver have more features?  Neither, really.  They're different tools for different jobs.  You could use a screwdriver to drive in a nail, but a hammer would probably work better.  Same goes for Lightroom Classic CC & Photoshop...there's some overlap, but they're still different tools for different jobs.

If you're looking for comparisons, I'd recommend doing a little Googling.  There are tons of articles and explanations out there that will be far better than anything I'd post here.

And be careful with your Lightroom terminology.  The naming is confusing, but Lightroom CC and Lightroom Classic CC are actually different products with different functionality.
