before the CC 2014 update I was able to alt or option click on a layer visibility eyeball and it would hide all other layers besides the one i clicked on. This was useful for before and after comparisons. This function does not work after the update. Please reenable this unless there is another way in photoshop.

It's working just fine when I try it.

What OS version are you using?
Do you have any utilities on your system that would capture the alt/option click event?

Okay I see, I'm working on photos in PS from lightroom 5, however I can't seem to get the normal right click option of "edit in photoshop" to work in Lightroom, so i had to choose the "edit in PS as smart object". It appears that the files from Lightroom wont do the option click.

I could export the files from Lightroom but it's quicker and easier to just right click on a photo in LR and edit in PS, save, and automatically have it back in lightroom. So i'm not sure if the problem is in Lightroom or photoshop.
