Photoshop: Allow tool cursors to be inverted over dark backgrounds instead of having an outline around them

In CS4 and prior, all the tool cursors (like the marquee tool) would invert from black to white when going over a dark background. Since CS5, instead of inverting, the cursor remains black and has a semi transparent white outline or outer glow around it. I find it incredibly difficult to be precise with this.

I just loaded the CS6 beta and see the outlined cursor is still there. With the eye dropper tool for instance, only the ring is outlined, so the center selection point remains black over a dark background, making it impossible for a precision selection.

I'd like there be a preferences option for inverting the cursor instead of outlining it.
