Lightroom CC: Allow use of both a camera profile and one of the new raw profiles

Why did Adobe go to all the trouble of creating all those nice RAW profiles in LR 7.3, if we are forced to choose between using the camera profile and one of the RAW profiles.

Give us the ability to use both profiles, or some sort of tool to merge profiles.

You'll need to explain why that would be useful for you Phil.

I had thought that using an Adobe RAW profile would ignore any adjustments needed of a particular DSLR.  Then I was told that those adjustments were included.

That's good, but at times I also use my XRite calibration device with a Color Checker target to create custom profiles for my camera, based on unusual lighting conditions.  In this case, I'm forced to choose between the custom profile and the RAW profile.

We’ve had this discussion before elsewhere, but for people who only see this thread: that only makes sense. If you could stack a raw profile on top of your custom profile, then your camera would be ‘double corrected’.
