After importing, Lightroom upload the picture and download a so-called preview for me to edit on it. This is ridiculous! Why can’t I directly edit my pictures? You need to know why I use Lightroom mobile instead of desktop version, that is because I’m outside of home and workplace, and usually in a bad network environment. Let me tell you, I waited 5 minutes for each picture to load the preview. Only after that, I can edit the photo.

Since I just import pictures from my iPad, why should I wait for the cloud? Why do the product managers are all crazy about their poor cloud? You will never expect what environment will your users face, you will never know that there are thousands of situations that doesn’t allow your user perform as the way you designed. Just give me the simplest function please! You want adopt cloud-based strategy that’s fine, but don’t destroy my original experience okay?

You can edit your originals if you have them on the device. When I load raw files to my iPad they are instantly available for editing. There is also a setting that turns on or off downloading. Raw files and just lets you use smart previews on other mobile devices.

Nope. I don’t know why but it’s not editable after I importing it. It takes about five minutes to load the preview.

Lightroom CC keep downloading and syncing it pics here and take too much time to open it, even if I add from local HD (desktop).

When using Lr Mobile, in the folder that you are importing your images to, turn on the option to "Store Locally".
