Lightroom: How to "Add to Quick Collection" in loupe view?

In Grid view, images can be added to the Quick Collection by marking the little circle in the top right corner of the thumbnail. I don't think this is possible when in Loupe view, at least I have not been able to find that. There are many situations where I would want to properly see the image before adding it to the quick collection, so in those cases I use Loupe view. But to add it to the Quick Collection, I must first return to Grid View

Do I miss something or is this feature missing ? If it is adding it would be a great help

Have you tried the B key? That'll work anywhere. Or the filmstrip thumbnail should work too.

Thanks Victoria. It's becoming quite a hassle to remember all these shortcuts. In this case adding the little circle would i.m.o. be so much easier.

Right click, "Add to Quick Collection"? That works in Loupe View.

hmm, in the latest LR I don't see "Add to quick collection" in the right click menu, and B adds to "target" collection instead.  Am I missing something?

By default, the target collection is the quick collection. You can change this to any other collection however. Right-click on a collection and choose 'Set as Target Collection'. You will see a plus sign behind the name of the collection.

got it.  I just set the quick collection to be the target, and all is good.
Thanks!
