Unable to use ColorByte ImagePrint profiles in LR 4 soft proofing. Only my Epson printer profiles show up. (Windows 7, ImagePrint 8)

If it is a CYMK profile it won't show up.

Have you installed it in the OS yet? It must be installed on the OS before you can use it.

Then, if installed, and a valid LR profile it can be added by clicking the Other... at the bottom of the Profile List.

There’s something goofy with the ColorByte profiles and this issue has been reported elsewhere. I’d contact them and find out what on earth they are doing with their proprietary ICC profile creation software that is causing this.

If I remember correctly, another limitation is that profiles with profile class "colorspace" are not recognized by Lightroom (and many other applications), only profiles classes "display" or "output" (= printer) are recognized.

They are output profiles. And we could place the blame on LR since they can be used in Photoshop. None the less, there is something goofy in the structure of the ColorByte profiles that produce this issue.

ColorByte will provide their profiles, that are compatible with LR. All you need to do is email them with the list you would like and they will email them back to you.
