LR3; WIN7 64
I changed the capture time of all files in a folder, by lets say 8 minutes.
After that I recognized, that the files in a completely different folder changed their capture time too, but lets say about 3 minutes.
First time I thought I'm stupid, but I double checked it.
Unfortunately all my pictures may have a wrong capture date/time now!!!!

Only those files selected should be changed. How did you select the files for change?

Your catalog backup will likely be your easiest way to salvage this without too much trouble.

Can you post detailed steps to recreate the problem? You would want to use a new catalog with a few test images in multiple folders to experiment with, not your regular catalog.

Obviously, even if you figure out detailed steps that can repeat the problem, Adobe is no longer issuing bug fixes for LR 3 or LR 4 but at least others could test to see if the current LR 5.2 also exhibits the problem.

It seems unlikely that anytime anyone changes a capture time, all other image times are adjusted, but by differing amounts depending on the folder, so the situation must have more nuance than that.
