Photoshop 2020: All files I open are just a white page

When I open any file in photoshop 2020 it just shows a white page. The image is in the little window on the Layers panel but noting on the actual page. I have rulers on and when I drag a new guide out it also doesn't show. I'm thinking there is a setting somewhere that got changed when it updated to 2020 but I have no clue what that setting would be. You can see in the picture below the artboard is all white and my channels are turned on.  My Layers are also turned on. when I turn them on and off it does nothing.

Hello, on your first post we can see the channels panel, can we see the layers panel?
Could you try going to the preferences>performance and toggle on the legacy compositing, then reopening Ps?

If it does not change anything, I'd try to recreate the preferences. again, in preferences>general click on reset preferences on quit.
Thank you so much this helped 100%

which version of windows? Are your GPU drivers up to date? Have you tried a prefs reset? Enabled Legacy Compositing?

That's weird, I restarted my computer and nothing changed. I restarted the computer again after illustrator froze on me and now I opened photoshop and it's OK.
