Lightroom Classic: Albums not syncing to my phone

Some of my Lightroom albums are syncing to the Lightroom app on my phone, and others are not.

I'm using Lightroom CC on my MacBook Pro, and a Pixel 3.

Hi Tom, have you checked the sync box in the Lightroom Classic Collections?

Thanks Peter. Turns out a lot of the albums were not set to sync. I set them to sync but they have not appeared in the app on my phone (1 day later).

Hi Tom, Adobe cloud sync is not the fastest, but it depends on your internet speed as well. I would click on the cloud symbol in LR Mobile to see if a sync is in process. You should check the sync status in LR Classic as well. What do you see there?

make sure also that the images in the LR/Classic collections which are marked for Sync, yet have not shown up in LR/Cloudy, are not "missing".  In other words, LR/Classic can find them.  Perhaps they are on a disk drive not currently connected.  I believe that in order to sync (at least the first time) the original images must be findable in order for the sync process to build the smart preview.

Thanks for these suggestions.

The photos do not appear to be "missing".

The 'sync settings' menu is greyed out so I can't access it (see attached screenshot).

Hi Tom,
in LR CC Desktop you could click on the filter symbol and select the sync status, then you perhaps see the missing picture and can start further investigations.

I filtered the Collections for whether they are synced. I have 44 synced collections, of which 16 appear in the Lightroom app on my phone.

Any ideas for what to look for next?

Can you locate this image, remove it from sync collections and All Synced Photos and see if Lightroom clears?

Actually, Rikk it's not completely solved. 6 of my collections appear on my mobile app but without any photos in them. They are set to sync on Lightroom and have photos in them on desktop. I logged in to lightroom.adobe.com and the albums are also empty there, so the issue is with syncing not with the app.

If you go to Preferences in Lightroom Classic and click on the Lightroom Mobile tab and allow it 60 seconds to refresh, do the images show up in the Sync Activity Window?
