Photoshop: AI smart objects show odd antialiasing artifacts

I use a lot of AI files imported as smart objects in my work. This artwork generally consists of hard-edged linework with flat colour applied with live paint. Since CS6 I've noticed that photoshop will display the AI smart object with ugly jagged edges between shapes which share the same edge. This is very noticable wherever two dark shapes meet up.

Work around is to duplicate the smart object layer then it's not so bad. Still, it bugs me to have to do that.

Hmm, I haven't seen that in any of our AI files.
Can you provide the AI file, so we can test it and see why the antialiased edges aren't matching up?
