When I'm happily drawing about, with my happy brush tool, erase something and want to go back to brushing, my first press of "B" is often ignored.

I'm using CS6-up to date, on OSX 10.8.2-up to date, on a rMBP with 16GB of RAM.

Unless you need to change the Eraser’s tip or other settings you could spring load it by keeping E pressed instead of actually switching tools.

Nice! I'll totally use that from now on. In other news, a reboot seems to have rid me of this problem. Case solved!

If it does come back, I would be curious to hear about it. We've had a number of complaints about shortcuts on Mac lately, but can't repro them in-house.

Thanks,
David
