Photoshop: Failure to load plug-in from alias (Mac 10.10 Yosemite)

I have custom plugins added to Photoshop CC and CC 2014 as folder aliases. That is: I have actual .plugin file in folder "Debug" somewhere, I created alias of the "Debug" folder and copied it to Photoshop's /Plug-in subfolder. Until upgrading to Yosemite Photoshop loaded plugins from the alias folder just fine, now it cannot (it does not appear in the list in About Plug-Ins and System Info does not list it as installed or as failed to install). Plugin itself is compatible with Yosemite - if I copy it to /Plug-ins Photoshop loads it ok, the problem is only with aliases.

Thanks,
Anton

First, check the alias and make sure it really refers to the proper plugins folder and didn't get mixed up in the OS update.

If the alias is good, then something may have changed in MacOS 10.10 which broke alias resolution in the OS code. Please let Apple know about that so they can get the information they need to fix the OS bug.
