I am working on a new imac with a wacom intuos. After updating photoshop cc 2017 liquify stoped working. when I apply the filter, the cursor turns to  a hand (space bar). Does anyone else have this problem?

I just upgrade my old Wacom Bamboo with a Wacom Intuos pro and i have a lot of problems with the latest driver, i even try to install the previous drivers but nothing changed. When i click the express keys or the touch ring i can't use the pen to move the mouse/brush anymore, Photoshop change the cursor and the tablet become useless until i restart the Mac.

I work on a iMac.  I downgraded to an older version 6.3.15-3 and it works. no problems!

What driver are you on? Customer on this thread states that 6.3.19-10 solves their issue: Photoshop 2017: Stuck on Hand tool with filters (Camera Raw, Liquify, etc) Wacom Driver issue

Although I updated the Wacom Version the problem is reoccurring. Does anyone have another solution than restarting the whole computer every time the Liquify tool gets stuck in hand mode?
I have a mac OS sierra Version10.12.3.

Hi if you find a solution other than restarting your computer every time, please let me know. I'm experiencing exactly the same thing, with or without a Wacom tablet. So infuriating!

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/hand-tool-stuck-liquify-photoshop.html - found a solution that's working for the time being - for me at least. Can't say its a permanent fix, but I've had Photoshop open for the last two hours and liquify is still behaving. Fingers crossed this helps :)

I once noticed that the liquify tool switched to the hand tool when I accidentally pressed the buttons on my pen, so I disabled the functions of the buttons in my pen, and restarted my iMac. so far the liquify tool has been working fine.

I hope this helps :)
