I was on LR 5.7 and having problems with Lightroom 6 being very slow after converting my image folder to LR6 the image loads much slower and if I delete an image it moves to the next thumbnail image but then wont allow any further motion back or forward. I have to then re-click on the thumbnail to move backwards or forward on the image thumbnails along the bottom of the screen.

LR5.7 if you delete an image it will then move to the next image and you can move backwards or forward along the thumbnails.

This is very frustrating and must certainly be a bug in LR6?

I am not seeing this in Windows or on Mac.

When I delete. It moves instantly to the next image and the arrows work instantly to move forwards and back.

It might help if you gave us precise descriptions of your system, how you perform a delete and any other details which might help us duplicate what you are seeing.

Ok, thanks using Win 7 64bit, CPU Intel I7, 32GB RAM, SSD, GTX970 4GB.

Problem arises when moving along the thumbnails at the bottom of the screen then pressing the delete button on the keyboard to delete a single image, confirm box appears to delete, remove or cancel if click on the delete it will then delete the image but then will not move backwards or forward with the arrow keys I also just tested the same box with but this time pressed the cancel confirm it has the same affect will not move until you re-click the thumbnail.

Yes after I said it was ok I found it to be still a problem but generally found LR6 to be much slower so I have reluctantly went back to LR5 as I just could not spare the time to resolve the problem. I always pre-load my previews 1:1 and also went to the extent of getting a Intel 750 PCie SSD the fastest SSD available also upgraded to 64GB RAM but none of it helped so I rolled back to LR5 and it is much quicker.
