Photoshop Elements: Will not work after adding wireless printer

I recently purchased an HP wireless printer. Model number C310a it is a Photosmart Premium printer. As soon as I added it to my computer, my Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0 stopped working. I now cannot access anything on the adobe and when I try to add photos, my whole computer freezes. HP had on my welcome email once I added the printer to make sure that i was using Adobe elements. I am very frustrated that all of the photos and my digital work is not un-usable and in-accessible.

If the whole computer is freezing, you have a hardware or low level driver problem. It sounds like you need to remove the HP wireless drivers and contact HP about the trouble it is causing.

Also, please remember that Adobe is a corporation, not an application.

Ok, if only Elements is freezing, then it's a simpler problem with the printer driver.
Is the printer on and available when you try this? Some (buggy) network printer drivers hang if the printer isn't available.

Does it also freeze if you switch the default printer to a different printer (maybe PrintToPDF or something like that)?

Elements would load when the printer was on and available, however it would only load pictures already in. When I attempted to open the Psd files, they would not open and it said that Photoshop experienced a problem. I did try the default printer option as well, and still no psd files would open.

It sounds like someone from the Elements team needs to contact you and talk you through troubleshooting your system.

My problem was the co-promotion. (besides the fact that I bought an awesome printer to use with my digi creations and my photos and now my expensive application won't work.)
